Philadelphia Orchestra Musicians (POM)
5th Annual Audience Appreciation Day
Free Concerts Throughout our Community
September 23, 2019

One Monday each fall, The Philadelphia Orchestra Musicians (POM) voluntarily organize and donate a Day of Music throughout the greater Philadelphia area.  This year, join us September 23rd for a series of free, informal small ensemble concerts, a token of appreciation to the Philadelphia area community. We'll perform in 32 different venues throughout the day, including schools, churches, public plazas, libraries, retirement homes, coffee shops, and even SEPTA stations. We hope to reach as many of our neighbors as possible with these up close and personal musical experiences, so that we can spread the joy and sense of meaning that music can bring to our lives. Come enjoy the music and get to know us! This year we also feature works by Beethoven, check out this list of featured Beethoven works during the day. Below is a video highlight from last year's Audience Appreciation Day.
